Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in the Walcot area of Swindon.

The incident happened at around 6:30pm on Monday 20th February when a 17 year old male was assaulted by an unknown male offender in Marlowe Avenue.

The offender cut the victim across the face with a sharp instrument before making off in the direction of McColls Newsagents.

The offender is described as white, 5'9''of stocky build, wearing a navy blue hooded top and a dark coloured bandana with white symbols on.
